Well, that’s exactly what happened to Trisha Heyborn, wife of actor Kirby Heyborn, when she had a difficult visiting teaching assignment. Trish found a way to reach out over the years, and when she finally did meet the woman, the results were not quite what she’d expected.

For Kirby, ministering to and serving others is all about listening. We show we care when we open up to others about ourselves and seek for them to do so in return. “It is hard to be divided from someone when you listen,” he says.
